BSNL EVDO: Increase in Tariff for UL

I talked to the BSNL officers about the rate change. They are not aware of this, and told me that unless BSNL informs us, the rent will remain same. There is no confirmation about the Nov1 date. Also they told me that if I do not want roaming, I can retain the 550/- monthly charge. I have given a request for the same.
 
Unlimited plan will now cost Rs.999 instead of the current Rs.650. :@


bad news !!

well we can use EVDO on roaming without any extra cost or not

Our complaint worked now, they withdraw the hike of evdo tariff for short period. No idea when they implement. Anyway our complaint should continue. Remeber all - BSNL will listen to customers feedback. Thanks for all who given complaint to BSNL management.

Please wrote the following letter to the DE/DGM WLL services.GM of your area,, with copy to [email protected]

Sir,
Sub: increase in tariff:-reg
Ref: Your letter dated.......

With refrence to your letter dated.. I regret to inform you, that the decision to increase the Plan charges of EVDO services is very bad in law and tarnish the image of BSNL in the eye of public, and only motive behind this decision is to give bad name to BSNL by certain vested interests in the organisation. We have no objection if the new charges to be increased for the new services like EVDO REV-A as they are having better facilities(increase speed,good up links etc.,)
2. We have taken the connection on the basis of plan charges announced, and paid Rs 3500/- as modem charges,with out knowing that the charges levied are priovisional and going to be raised in the future.No understaking was taken from us in this regard by your officers.
3.In this conncetion you have two option. You can still raise the charges, but give us, new modem which support REv- A. in exchange of old modem taken by us with out any extra charges or terminate the connection but return the modem chages to us which is fair in law.
4.I have received not the announcd speed as you stated in the websites, but very less speed and frequent disconnection, and support from your technical officers is totally missing and I have to ran pillar to pillar to solve the problems. So there is no reason to increase the plan charges for the old customers9 who are used as testing 'quinea pigs' .
5.The trend so far is all the services plans is now decreasing rapidly to took out the competition, only BSNL is dare to raise the charges double the amount in a stroke without assining any valid input. inthis connectionon the charges are only increased recently from Rs550/ to Rs650 for roaming facilities,and before the ink dried you have increased it again.
6.This matter will be agitated in court of law ( as it is not the billig disputes but cheating the customer with false promise of low charges by compelling to purchase the modem, then raise the charges without assigning reason)
7.I have taken a unlimited plan with 550 charges p.m and a small increase of Rs100/ for roaming charges is justified, but you have no right to shif / change the nature of plan without my permission,since you are violating the TRAI directives in these regard.
Inview of the reasons mentioned above kindly cancel/postpone the shifting of plans.
8. I have further stated, that in case if you are shifting me/ or charging me without my express permission, This matter will be agitated before the court of law.

The existing EVDO customers would continue to avail theunlimited data usage @Rs. 650 per month.3.
