BSNL Fiber Broadband new plans starting from 1 April 2024

Changed the plan from Basic 499 to Basic 599 for a bump up in speed from 60 to 100 Mbps. More than sufficient for the TV/guests etc. Waiting for it to go into effect hopefully today. BSNL is making sense now.

Guys do you see any plans above 300 Mbps in Rajasthan? Their list hasn't been updated for me.

So far I have seen Kerala, Kolkata, Lakshadweep UT, Telangana have 1 Gbps and they all have an expiry date on the page. Try going to their office and applying for an upgrade.

Bloody hell I thought I'd say something nice about BSNL for once. And the line goes down...comes back up and now the VOIP line isn't working. Why BSNL? Why?!!!! Why must you fk up like this?!

BSNL has updated its website. Plans reflecting new Speed is now visible. They have even removed the condition for the Rs. 449 Plan. This means customers can switch to the 50Mbps plan. Moreover, the plan is now available to everyone, not just new customers.

I'm seeing the same plans but where are 500 Mbps & 1 Gig plans? Are they only available offline?

@unnecessary To get 500MBPS - 1GBPS Plan, You can either get it by upgrading your plan through selfcare portal (for me, 500mbps - 1gbps plan are visible) or can get it by visiting Nearby Exchange/BSNL Office.

Regarding Prices, They are listed on BSNL Portal at TRAI List

@Chip Around what time did that happen? It happened to my connection too in the evening for a few minutes.

@sloj it happened around 5:00-5:30 pm I was trying to call the landline but it wasn't going through. My wife called back from her mobile to tell me it was not working.

These fellows have umpteen unscheduled downtimes every month.
