Bsnl FTTH (Bharat Fiber) local infrastructure of fiber cable from outside poles to inside home installtion with pics.

@Rahul Kalani Thanks for reply.

1. Have you tried the speedtest again on different servers of speedtest.net?
Please specially test on spectra net Mumbai server and also test on fast.com on 2.4Ghz WiFi by different mobile. Also try both tests on your laptop by 2.4Ghz wifi but not by LAN.

2. What link speed shows you in your mobile and laptop on 2.4Ghz WiFi?
Also share you mobiles and laptop Model numbers.

3. On which date, you had officially submitted the last request application for ftth connection in bsnl office and after how many days later (date and month) they installed the connection in your home?
I want to know how much time they generally takes to install connection after taking advance money?

@sidg2

1. Uploaded the screenshot of speedtest on spectra server. On fast.com on 2.4Ghz wifi its around 45 Mbps. Also I dont have laptop so cannot test it via laptop. Only desktop I have on which I use wired connection. Also attaching spectra server speed test via desktop lan connection

2. Didnt get your question. Mobile :- Asus Zenfone max pro m1 and Realme u1

3. It totally depends on how much you can convince that person and varies from place to place. In my case wiring was done before paying any advance. They had pulled cable till my home and then I paid them advance and after that in 2 days they gave the ont and id password and the connection started. This thing totally depends on the person who is doing the installation. If you are a VIP person the connection can even happen in just a day.

@SG_curiosity Yeah even I feel so. I had even talked to TP-Link customer care. Their warranty policy is to replace it with refurbished model. And the guy at customer care was telling that refurbished models are not that great. They are likely to give more issue. And I am not facing much issue since I hardly use wifi. I mostly rely on mobile data. So I have decided to use this only. I may replace it at the end of warranty period which is of 3 years.

@SG_curiosity See If you will check the reviews on flipkart and Amazon many have mentioned low speeds on 2.4Ghz band. I am not even sure if my router is faulty or not. But if you have devices compatible with 5Ghz band then you will get full speed. I have tested it with iPhone, laptop and amazon firestick. In 5Ghz you get full speed. If you are ok with this you can purchase. And on online purchase you get replacement policy also.

1. @Rahul Kalani @varkey can you guys please share the pic of dp box (distribution panel box) specifically of bsnl FTTH, it is a last main distribution point in your nearby locality from where the fiber cable comes to your house ?

2. Those who got bsnl FTTH connection directly from bsnl officials (no franchisee involvement), how much long fiber cable they provide free of cost and if extra length required then how much they usually charged per metre?

@varkey I am a normal bsnl DSL broadband user and I have a D-Link 2750u adsl2+ router which obviously have a DSL input (Rj11 port). I am planning to buy bsnl FTTH.
If I connect this D-Link router to new bsnl FTTH basic non-WiFi ONT modem Alphion-100 by bridge mode and then add the bsnl's internet user ID and password settings and SIP voice settings in D-Link router and then connect my landline instrument in D-Link router's Rj11 port then will landline work?
If not then in which router this method will work ?
