guys got bsnl installed as my backup connection

which onu should I get please suggest I tried it on vsol v280rh but the speed is stuck on 10mbps

LCO says its due to onu not syncing with acs servers so now looking for a simple onu that just converts the fiber to ethernet and I can dial pppoe in my router or any chances I could make the vsol work with bsnl

@sloj can you tell me the acs configuration

these are the settings I inserted in my vsol
also my LCO is not reluctant on any tec certified bs

You can't do anything. They capture latitude and longitude info and then your connection gets full speed after some time.
Try not to do bridge for the time being. Atleast next 2 weeks.

@anmolbhard004 My connection is from before all these kinds of things were introduced. For now, I just have ONT authentication and no TR069. You can check on unofficial BSNL subreddit, there is a list of ONTs there.

@!!..PD..!! From where do you get such info?

I am planning to get Asus router rt-ax 53 u and use it by setting my bsnl ftth Netlink router modem combo in bridge mode. I have browsed multiple posts in this forum, but after going through this thread I am a little worried. Is this asus router going to work? I don't know if this has tr069, I tried googling but couldn't find anything.

And how exactly to deal with mac binding issue that seems to be causing a lot of problems for so many people. Should I ask bsnl/Lco to release mac binding done against ont and then copy that ont mac address to asus router ppooe profile? Any help appreciated. @sloj, @!!..PD..!! , @Spectra

Ps: I am new and mostly a noob

TR069 is for ONT, not the router. Before doing anything make a back up of the settings in the ONT. You can bridge the WAN profile in the ONT, then connect your router and configure with the necessary info such as userid, password, etc. and then ask LCO/BSNL to reset/release the MAC and wait for confirmation. After confirmation just reboot the router and ONT and you should be connected.
