Have you got any replies @laboreddislodge with your issue? I have the same issue and with @!!..PD..!! 's suggestion i have installed openwrt on my router and enabled SQM. life is good now.
if openwrt is not available TP-Link's QoS is also good enough.
but ig we should take this to some one to notice at-least. or it'll stay the same.
