I am trying to setup Syrotech router in bridge mode with my TP-Link ER605 Omdada router. I have seen in the forum people using it successfully, for me I keep getting PADI times out error in the ER605 notification.
Generally its only the User ID, Password and VLAN and MTU details that are required to set it up correctly, but despite of multiple attempts, I am unable to get it working.
So far I have tried the following, but all in vein
1. Deleted the current working internet PPPoE config from my syrotech and setup a new profile in bridge mode with following settings for profile
2. Deleted the current working internet PPPoE config from my syrotech and setup a new profile in bridge mode with following settings for profile
I have tried other permutation combination (desperate attempts)
1. Used the MAC address of the bridge in the router - same PADI error
2. Used Static IP (yes I have static IP provided by ISP) - Unable to connect to WAN error
3. Used the IP6 settings along with IP4 - same PADI error
Can some one help me with a working configuration (what all is being set on the Modem and Router end to work), so that I can revalidate if all my settings are correct. Not sure if BSNL has stopped the bridge mode configuration to work.
The only working model right now for me is the Dynamic IP setup in router and connected to Modem, but this is leading to double NAT, as such I have 30% speed drop plus DNS errors popping multiple times for which I need to do IP release and renew every now and then.
I know this should not be such brain wracking, but I am trying to narrow down to the reason so that I can either go back to ISP with what I need in terms of settings or set things right in the router to make it work.

Y

- Selected bridge in MODE
- IPV4 in IP PORTOCOL MODE

- 802.1p set to 7
- MTU provided by ISP
- Turn off LAN DHCP set to off (unchecked)
- Service mode INTERNET
- Port binding to PORT1 (and yes port1 is connected to the WAN in my Omada router)

- MTU is set to default of 1500
