I am experiencing strange issue in my Bsnl ftth connection that is the upload alone is alone slow but download speed is full and perfect . We (LCO , BSNL NOC team and myself ) have checked all the possibilities like fibre power, ONT Firmware Update, DNS and also changed the PON port of their OLT where customers is less and even isolating all customers and connecting only me to the specific PON port but still the issue remains unresolved.
Even checked with new modem by the FSP but the issue is still unresolved.
my plan speed 125mbps. I am getting around 130 mbps in download but my upload speed does not go beyond 10mbps ( tried at different times day, mid day, eveng, midnight)
Note: The issue is same in Lan , 2.4ghz and 5ghz Wifi. LAN cable also new only.
Fibre power is -14 and -18 and -12 (tried in different houses by taking my modem)
BSNL guys also clueless on the issue and I have tried speaking with seniors officers like AGM level.
Finally they say some account issue might have happened due to the recent portal migration for the south and west region customers.
The only way is try changing the alphabet before phone number [email protected] to [email protected] and check or completely assigning me new phone number. Which I feel is strange. Is it even possible?
PS: 1. I am also unable to access my usage and other related option in selfcare portal which I waspeed images able to access earlier around January 15 2025. that is the last I remember.
2. Similarly around Januaray Mid , I activated Bsnl_wifi Roaming and it creates some wifi access point in my modem, which I couldnt delete , even if I delete i got created automatically if ont is restarted. Then I had to send them my MAC and they configured freshly my ONT from OLT and it was working fine for 2 days and then this upload issue started.
Anyone have any idea on this strange issue or exxperienced this issue?
Also I have complaints in pgrms , twitter and all possible escalations is already done.
