Got this sms from BSNL for a backup BB account. Covid Tax?

why it reminds me of past about well known 'technocrat' BJP leader hailing from maharastra who did something similar to MTNL to cut it off the race against Reliance :unsure:

Anyway I'll see if I get the same SMS ,I'll downgrade my plan.

Pramod Mahajan?
He bleeded MTNL by promoting Reliance CDMA and allowing them to sabotage MTNL network (CDMA) and GSM services. That was in late 90's.
 
Good I surrendered my BSNL broadband connection in second week of June itself :)

Was already on the cheapest 349/- plan earlier. Downgraded to 129/- voice only plan.
