BSNL is inserting ads in websites, sending their users to malware sites through malware code injection

i am not sure how they can insert ads on https sites. do post a screnshot of the whole browser window where you see an injected ad on a https page.

Example - imgur . com.

I have enabled https only in chrome in the above case, but still it is showing like this due bsnl interfering. Although this does not happen everytime, but occasionaly.

If i have not enabled https in chrome, then i will see bsnl ad instead of this warning.

If bsnl is blocking https modes of http websites then it's a much larger issue.

I guess start using warp for browsing.

Yes, they are bypassing https..and forcing to http.. so no matter if i activate https only. How all these is happening..

Changing to other browser is painful, due to my 100s of my bookmarks, passwords all are in chrome..it is really difficult shift use other browser..

Can you click on Connection is not secure in the drop down and then certificate information?

And then share that screenshot please?

That'll help a lot in figuring out what's happening here.

yes i get the same , even i see cinemaplus ad on broadbandforum site
a single refresh removes the ad , after sometime again it will come ..
dont knw what bsnl is trying to do with cinemaplus

one would have imagined that hsts would take care of that. i guess not. maybe we would need to wait for tls ech. or maybe bsnl would find a way to break even that.
