BSNL network troubles ?? anyone from baroda??

hello i only got my bsnl broadband connection here in baroda recently. But the trouble is network is down most of the time.Adsl light blinks alomst 50-60 times a day.At times i notice a huge fluctuation in download speeds and sometimes i can't access internet even when the adsl light isn't blinking.is that normal ??

I am currently suscribed to their 256 k unlimted plan and using windows vista.

sanoj i am from vadodara, and broadband connection this month, h500, and getting around 170kBYTES/sec download speed in good download sites, no disconnection, no adsl link blinking, no problem at all so far.i was using 900ul plan upto nov 2006 last year and that time i was getting 28kB to 30kB speed, i am in under KBG exchange
