Bsnl New Plan Flexi-350 in Andhra

BSNL Krishna telecom district has announced introduction of Flexi-350 Home Plan in broadband service from Ugadi on Monday. The minimum monthly charge is Rs.350, for which 256 kbps bandwidth would be made available with a provision to download or upload 2 GB. Additional usage beyond free download will be charged 85 paise per MB, and only Rs.750 of maximum usage will be allowed per month.

so what do you guys say about this new plan? is it introduced in other states also?
Note: news is old. yesterday i saw some banners in visakhapatnam city.

i dont think its for other states..i'm not happy with 256kbps.. whatever plan it is.. they should bringing more 2mbps plans..

Its a good plan for those who want to have broadband and all they do on net is checking emails and surfing few pages a day....

This is the BSNL notification of the BroadbandFlexi plan

You can see, the offer is available only upto 07-10-2008 (six months).

They might definitely introduce some more interesting plans by that time.

2 GB for 350 Rs is really good...MTNL just gives 700 MB for 399 bucks..although speed is 2 Mbps:madness:

of all the Broadband Plans Available now, Home500C is the best one, and no other plan can beat it. I just calculated now and i'm happy i'm using Home500C plan.
The most convincing reason is that,
Home500C offers phone calls in oneIndia Plan including 175 Free calls.
If we use a oneIndia Plan on our phone with 175 calls a month, we will have to pay a bill of 305/- + taxes, details here
deduct this from fixed charges of Home500C plan, the effective amount is 195/-+Taxes.

So assuming we use 175 calls a month on a average (in OneIndia Plan),
The Effective Broadband Plan Home500C will become as this.
[Monthly Telephone Charges: Rs 305/- + taxes]
Monthly Broadband Charges: Rs195/- + Taxes
Connection Speed= 2Mbps
Download/Upload limit=1.5GB
Addl usage=Rs0.8/MB + taxes

Home500C plan also doesnot disappoint Heavy Dwonloders, proper scheduling yields atleast 4.2GB/day .
A 256Kbps connection gives only 2.7 GB/day [24hrs power consumption is also a burden]

that is why,

The Above BroadbandFlexi Plan might look convincing , but we should also consider thet we should definitely opt for a Landline plan, so mininum 180/-Plus Taxes for 50 calls ,
minimum monthly bill becomes 530/- + Taxes.
-Or we can opt for annual payment option for LandLine (Rs 1200 for 12 months, 50 free calls each month)
So effetcive Rs[450/- + taxes]per month.


So,with Rs50 difference, we can upgrade to 2Mbps speed ,will lose 512MB/month but have the night unlimited option.(consider early morning browsing)

Completely agree wid u..Home 500 is a really nice plan...
