As long as one can get DMZ on the ONT, I can tolerate it. It's just an extra hop then, I'd just imagine it as part of the route after wan.

@Adithya did you configure bridge mode?
Yesterday I talked to an LCO guy for a new connection, and he said everything is ACS configuration so let's try and see if bridge mode is possible or not, and that we can check it only after the ACS server configures everything

I gave up before. I can't deal with the csc and resetting macs at the moment. Even then I can't reach their server at all when bridging to be rejected. Router's stuck in PADI discovering step. It's like bridge doesn't work on this one.

yes ,from sept ,my wyrotech also switched to tr069

i do have old backup file

it works with old profile but after next day it automatically changes to tr069

I got a new BSNL connection in November I guess, been only a month. DG-GR6011.
My LCO configured it remotely via OLT the WAN profiles etc the usual stuff.
TR069 was enabled, and settings would revert back after ONT restart.
I waited for PPPoE MAC to be registered and my Static IP.

Post that I just asked him to not set up any of the settings from his OLT for my ONT, just the barebones. Theres 3-4 of those settings.
Then I could configure my ONT my way.
xxA2 was ONT MAC, xxA3 was PPPoE and xxA4 was Voip.
To put it in bridge and use my own Router with MAC Clone, I made a fake WAN so that it takes A3 MAC, then Internet with VLAN Tag which got A4 and VOIP got A5.
Deleted the placeholder profile so that I could MAC Clone xxA3 on my Router.

Post that I now use XZ000G3 + Router.
I was getting my ONU MAC Blacklisted only when G3 would restart before my Router and G3 couldnt find it.
If G3 was restarted but Router was online then it was all good.
So I asked my LCO to change this Loopback Setting to Auto-Recover 30sec from Manual.
Imo just visit LCO nicely and if you can ask for help I am sure he/she will help you out.
In my case since I run a Design Agency I did a rebrand for his little Cable Company with Logos and few flyers.
I have complete freedom to do whatever at this point.
Since the past few days BSNL has been a little choppy, I call him at 8pm and he sets up his Railwire 100mbps account for me in 10 minutes.

This is why I switched from Airtel to BSNL, cos the authority (LCO) is atleast reachable & care unlike Airtel chaps.
