Can anyone confirm if UDP ports are forwarded or not.

Hello, I needed to forward a port (UDP only) so I setup everything as usual and to my surprise it didn't work. Setting as TCP/UDP works but only with TCP. I have tried multiple things including forwarding tcp/udp from the router but allowing only udp from firewall, using other routers using bridge mode etc but to no avail.

Nevermind, it turns out that tcp is needed for some online port checkers to work, udp-only forwarding worked as it should when I tested with my usecase.
