Can BIG DTH channel package for South be trusted

Hey , Guys i see that reliance has added huge no of south indian channels, but they are doing this to attract customers Espically a Channel like Shalom TV which is a devotional channels for Keralites and it is only offered by Sundth outside Kerala I feel once they get customers , they wil start removing channels like other DTH guys and talk about bandwith issues For Southindian, staying in West,East and North India, shoudl on go ahead with Big DTH once it is launched or WAIT FOR SUNDTH What do you guys thing
 
For south indian guys.. I think Sun DTH will be better even when compared Reliance BIG.. .. AS sun also employs MPEG4 you will get better quality as BIG.. As for as channels are concerned sun dth will add and keep there rates more competitive.. Sun dth rates are very low compared local cable oprator.. Shalom Channel is it a really use ful channel.. i dont know but stilll sun will provide those channels to u...
 
what is the need for removing channel from the list ? All channels must share feed to the DTH provider. There is no exclusive channel for a particular provider. So we can watch all channels on all providers, if they have enough bandwidh and transponder. Shalom and no other Malayalam channels are exclusive for Sundirect.:whistle:

No channel are exclusive for any dth operator.. but Reliance will not much focussed for regional channels.. moreover they will charge carriage fees for channels which are has less viewer ship.. hope sun wont as it knows feel of south India market more than reliance
 
It again depends Suresh, it is not imperative that you should choose only SUN DTH if you are in South India. I am also from South (Chennai) and I love Dish TV even if it is MPEG-2 Technology and I never go for SUN DTH because it is MPEG-4 Technology.Dish TV covers most of the channels and expect them to add more channels because they are launching a new satellite.BIG TV is working rigorously to add more channels (that includes South Indian channels) as well because they do not want to loose any market .
 
Shalom ? anybody see that ? Oops.. I lost somewhere ! DishTV.. I think if they dont remove good channels, they are the best ! They have removed two malayalam channels! Then few other channels (Headlines Today)... I dont have any issue if they remove unpopular channel ! But a channel like Indiavision (which most of the people depend for impartial news) is removed, then it is a problem!Ask channel people whether it will be there in future or not !! If they ask carriage fee, many of the channel has to drop out !
