I live in a 2 (maybe 3) tier city. And have a broadband connection from a local ISP. Speed is fine on it (70 Mbps as the plan), and it remains stable.

Only thing bad is the ping in gaming (for eg: CSGO has around 200ms ping). I have tried many things from online articles regarding ping in gaming, none of the methods could bring it down.

Big ISPs like airtel and jio have just came recently to my city (around 3 months ago). So my question is, if I change my ISP to these ones, can my ping get better? Maybe because, they have a better infrastructure?

OR it won't affect my ping at all, coz govt builds optic fibre network throughout india and all the ISPs in my locality would use the same infra?

Ofcourse you will have better pings if you switch to airtel or jio fiber. Ping depends upon the routing used by ISPs. Optical Fiber cable deployed by govt is not the subject of discussion.
