Maybe he means the transparent logo that some music channels put to avoid Music videos being ripped off their channel and broadcasted by Cable Operators.

Yes, I already checked it with google, but price looks to be unbelievable low (to prices in Europe in Russia, where similar packages cost at least 500-800 euros per year). So this is why I wanted to double check it.

Exchange rate isnt always a good yardstick to measure buying power of a currency

I am on Tata Sky, have never noticed any logo in the middle of the screen..

I want to ask, music channels on Tata Sky also have semitransparent logo in the middle of the scree, as FTA music channels have?

This is very funny thing, noticed only on Indian channels, logo in the center of the screen :)
This is done by some South Indian Music channels I guess, but none of Hindi Music Channels have logo in centre

Thanks everyone very much for your input and help. Next week I'll be in Delhi and will try to keep you informed as things are going on :)

And final question, what is the website for Zee Network package at 105.5E? I can't find it (there's Zee Network website, but no word on pricing). Channels seem to be almost same as Tata Sky, but encoding is Conax, not VideoGuard, so it'll be easier to use alternate receiver.

Oh yes the south indian channels do put a transparent logo on some of their broadcasts (exactly like those idiotic exclusive flashes on news broadcasts. though not so big). It is quite irritating you know/ The stupid thing even moves around to screw the whole experience up/@TOPIC: ForeignGuy: These are the boquets of the respective networks. The DTH ops have absolutely different channel packages mostly tuned wrt genres.

In India Following are the DTH Operators : Tata Sky - Partly owned by Star ( Or some sister company, Im not really sure )Dish Tv ( Zee Tv )Airtel TvReliance Tvand maybe others that i cant recall right now. You get most of the channels on with all DTH operators.
