Can I buy South package in North India

Can I buy a south package as I am based at Mumbai?Or, Can I use chennai to buy a connection? Will that be installed at Mumbai?How do I go about it?This query is applicable for all DTH service providers.

Thanks for this clarification. However, can you please confirm to me about the special package offers from Sun Direct which says "offer valid only for tamilnadu". The "tamil packages" which are available for north India are different ones.
