MTNL device i.e. my router supports 4 LAN machines. Plus I suppose good number of Wifi machines as well. For additional LAN machines u can connect switch as well.I use my mobile (wifi), laptop (wifi) and PC (LAN). My friend also uses it on his mobile when here.
Range depends on number of walls plus how good router is.the first router i got was able to cross 3 walls. (abt 15mtrs)unluckily it went faulty after 1yr and replacement i got was able to cross just 2 walls. (abt 8-9 mtrs)
i ll recomend better get ur own one like D-Link 2750 for Rs.2300+ with 3yr warranty. mtnl router sucks range wise, also ull have to pay 800 one time non refundable + Rs.75 monthly rental.
