can i open my PSU to clean the fan?

guys, can i open my PSU for cleaning it's fan? it makes a lot of noises. cleaned the cabinet fan and used vaseline on it, it is running like makkhan :).but the PSU fan noise is still a pain. can i clean the psu fan by opening up the psu? (searched google but couldn't find much help)

aww nothin happened to me man! i cleaned my smps (wud be uploading pics soon! :) )no shock nothin! though, the only main problem was to dis-assemble ! assembling everything back (wires etc.) and screwing everything to place was a breeze! will upload pics and a lil guide (if anyone wants) :P later after my sessionals get over on wednesday! :)

will be waiting...my system is suffering a lot..I think I need to change the PSU
