Can I use BSNL Broadband with Beetel modem from Airtel?

Apparently the modem from BSNL is turning out to be a bitch. Also, this must be the first time that I am seeing hissing sound (of a fan) coming from a modem. :\

Not optimal, but they are more than enough for 4 mbps. do yourself a favour and ditch the crap that BSNL gives.

On MTNL you need to write an application, get it signed and return the modem to the exchange.
