can i use dth receiver to get free to air channels

saw on the lyngsat website.. i clicked on the free tv from india option... and showed lot of channels.. they are all fta channels right ?


and also few other countries channels can be accessable if they cover our zone.

i have another question,is it possible to start our own dish tv ? buying stb and dish and setting up... using the signal of any DTH and watching it free... is it possible ?

DTH is full of pay channels .so you cant.. but.... if they are Free to air for sometime then you can watch....... Right now STAR ONE channel on Nss6 is running FTA. if anyone has FTA box can access to it with KU band lnb and small dish

Yes it is possible and you can watch DD direct +. If you know hacking or peeping then you can watch dish tv and Tata Sky for free.

why i asked cos Tata Sky says in between the matches like it is illegal to show this signal on cable tv... like that... so i just asked the same thing can we do by receiving the signals for watching free of cost

Buy a motorised antenna, a big antenna, LNBs for C band and Ku bands, tunable STB, and a TV satellite and programme guide - bingo, you can watch unlimited channels.
