hey, can I use the ZyXEL Airtel router (PMG5617-R20B) as a wifi repeater with Jio fiber with the ethernet cable? ( By turning off the DHCP server?)

I guess there are plenty of guides on net that talk about how to convert any router into an access point to act as wifi extender.
Your question is obviously if that can be done with your Airtel router which I suppose must be ont router.

Give it a try by following those guides...if it does not work or you are stuck somewhere better ask a more pointed question for others to think and ponder over, where the issue could be? If it's feasible or not? and so on.
I would be curious to know if it will work or not as well!

hey sorry for late response, i am gonna upgrade to jio fiber in January I will surely inform you about ZyXEL router.

i saw some videos about ZTE and Nokia router, they work fine in repeater mode (by turning off DHCP server)
