Does making multiple partial payments summing upto the total amount due before the bill date affect the credit score?

Asking as a person wants to pay his bill via cash at the bank branch. But they want to do it in multiple parts.

What are they going to report? Person pays 60,000 coins of ₹1 each to make a payment of 60,000 and that, too, 3 times in batches of 20,000 coins per batch?

Don’t bother with it so long as you’re paying all dues inside of the timeframe. That’s all that matters.

credit score is not affected, if you atleast pay minimum amount (mentioned in the bill) before due date. While there will be still interest arrears due to less payment, but it won't affect credit score.

So if I've a bill for Rs. 20k, and I pay Rs. 15k today and 5k after four days. Both before the due date. Is it going to attract charges?

@Samuel Yes, it depends from bank to bank but there is a charge, if you are paying for your credit card using cash, each deposit will attract a charge (eg. Rs 4.5 for every Rs. 1000 for kotak), ask your bank for that details. Your better bet would be to just deposit cash in to your account or your acquaintance account and then pay for your card online.

Tried with HDFC even though website says 100 rs extra charge. On confirming with my RM and depositing the required amount I can confirm there is no extra charges.
Whatever I deposited is being reflected in my card account so better to confirm with RM or branch.
