can we choose the channels of our choice for monthly DTH operations with effect from Dec 1(as per TRAIs guideline), instead of watching the channels provided by the DTH operator . can we also pay only for the channels that we opt to watch . but Tata Sky & Dish TV has not implemented so far...:thumbsup:

No, as TRAI guidelines are for broadcasters and not for consumers. The guideline says that the content provider (like Star group) should provide channels on a pick and chose basis to the broadcasters (like Tata Sky or Sumangali cable vision). Consumers are yet to benefit from this.(Im still confused about the thumbsup emoticon in your post
