Hey,I am/was facing problems with my router settings. I could not access the 192.168.1.1 router control panel through IE. Neither could I telnet into my router. But all through this while my internet was working, not stable (had some disconnections) but still working. I tried using another router I have, same problem I faced. I called up my friend who lives nearby and he was facing the same problem too.Anyway, don't know but all of a sudden the telnet started to work, but I still couldn't access it via a browser. Suddenly that has also started working? Anyone facing the same problem? Any reason for this erratic behavior?Regards,Sibot

I don't have any such problems? Even my neighbors don't. It might be due to messed up LAN configuration or router settings? Are you using USB or ethernet to connect the modem?

telnet started to work
You know modem IP and password
Suddenly that has also started working?
same as above.
Where is the problem for you now ?
Nothing to do with MTNL connection.
1Clear all temp files from IE.
2.Start run type cmd type ipconfig/all
3 See the default gateway.
4 Enter it in IE. Since modem/router not mentioned .
