Cannot connect internet

I use open DNS 208.67.222.222/208.67.220.220. But today my modem shows connected but I cannot open any site. When I change DNS as bsnl 61.1.96.69/61.1.96.71 then I connect only yahoo and bsnl site. Other site not opening. What's the problem? Kindly help me to open other site please.

My modem is Starlite MT882. BSNL CC said that its whole eastern zone problem. Today I access all site.
Is it right (Which BSNL CC said)? Actually I have face this problem first time. I always use open DNS. But yesterday the problem was start.

NO action required .
Save present settings of modem to Hard disk.
Post ipconfig /all data
START RUN type cmd type ipconfig /all ( *note space after ipconfig )
Confirm how you connect " ?
(a) "PPPOE" "Dialer" wanminiport . "Bridged" selected in modem wan page.
(b) ppp/ PPPoE " Always On: userid and PW entered in WAN page.
