cant open my router and limited speed

@chandu recommended an old ballpoint refill for resetting !
Clear all temporary files in IE.
try also ccleaner from filehippo.com - Download Free Software
( and many more useful softwares)
start run type cmd type ping 192.168.1.1
start run type cmd type ipconfig/all
Does the default gateway show as 192.168.1.1 ?

@i did use an old ballpoint for resetting
default gateway does show 192.168.1.1 as i said before if u read my previous post i did ping 192.168.1.1 the msg i get is request timed out ...loss 100%..I dnt no y this is happening...

Present position
1.You have tried to reset the modem.
2.Still you are connected to Internet and surf .
3.You cannot ping 192.168.1.1 which is the default gateway.
4.You cannot access the modem's settings page.
5. You are not satisfied with the speed.
Para two : conclusions
1. Reset did not happen. 2. So working ok.
3. If default GW 192.168.1.1 is not pinged it is not the gateway.
4. Problem remains.
5. Try Internet Speed Accelerator from Computer and registry cleaning, memory optimization and general windows optimization software ( trial version , limited use.)

1.In FF clear FF cache. clear all passwords.
2.Switch to IE with add on IETab. mozdev.org - ietab: index
3.Back to FF with FirefoxView Mozilla Firefox Extension
will appear in context menu. of IE
4.Post the support page.( of lan)
