LTE + Gives less speed in my case may because of low network as LTE+ signals comes and goes frequently (depends on location comes at certain locations only), and here Jio deployed CA on 40+40 Bands (20mhz+10mhz) that could be a issue here, Usually get 4~5 MBps speed at normal LTE and 1~2 MBps at LTE+, i am from Nashik, Maharashtra and Using device Mi A1, Check SS for more clarification.

@Saifi2649 Wait for next update of MiUI. 3CA and Dual VoLTE doesn't work in stable MiUi but works well in MiUi as well as on Custom Rom (RR). So I guess it's not enabled in stable rom.

What speeds do you get and could you post a screenshot of About phone page,want to know which version of RR has it

Seems like it's time to dump my S7 Edge bought from US,damn has SD820 and still doesn't support Jio VoLTE

Most likely it has a radio and Android firmware for US. It's no longer a good idea to get devices from abroad these days.

When only answer for congestion is LTE+, Jio hardly promotes it. We, consumers, are suffering since most OEMs hardly enable it.

Once on 3CA enabled OP5, I checked Speed test which got 6Mbps whereas my Redmi of not CA enabled hardly reached 0.5Mbps!
I wanted to buy a 3CA phone but disappointed a as most budget phones say Redmi note 5 pro, Asus Zenphone Pro Max and even Oppo Realme1 have hardware 3CA but no software support!

Most funny thing is most people care about Dual VoLTE than CA enabled in headsets!! Only Samsung has enabled CA across all supported hardwares.
I thought no Redmi phones had LTE CA enabled till now! LTE+ on MI A1 is puzzling me! If Note5Pro has it, I am seriously considering it! I am still in need of some cheap phone in Mid range with confirm 3CA software support (Till 20k). Any suggestions readers?

You are right Most of OEMs doesn't enable CA though hardware is supported, In case of Mi A1 it is enabled for global versions except Indian one, so some users including me enabled it by rooting device.
