Are you sure about pixel 2 supporting 3CA on jio?

Also now that Android P stable is officially out. Can any one with Android P on Pixel 2 confirm if it supports 3CA on jio?
Why don’t you confirm it yourself

1. Install Android P on your Pixel 2
2. Install free app called Net Monster
3. Insert a Jio sim
4. Report your findings.

If you check few pages back, I have already posted pics which show 3CA activated.

Really sorry, i thought you need a rooted phone for the app to work properly, I guess i might have missed your post.I have already installed Android P. Thanks for the help i will report my findings.

Finally got 3CA, again thanks @d5aqoëp for testing this on Android 9.0 beta. Now I want to test this on Android 8.0 for pixel 2 :P , if it was working or not. I can't post a speedtest comparison since I guess I am a bit far from the tower so it just switches to xCA for 2-3 seconds.

i.e 2Mbps on 4G & 11Mbps on 4G+

I Just Want to ask you do we have Carrier Aggregation For Airtel in Nashik coz currently I am using Airtel Which doesn't seems to have Carrier Aggregation?

We are in mid of 2019....... Guys do list some of mid range phones supporting Carrier Aggregation...... SD660 is being used in so many mid range phones but most of them do not support CA, particularly Xiaomi....

There is also no clarity about Realme 3 and Realme 3 pro supporting CA.....

.... and there is little information available about it in public domain.... so guys do share your experience.....

why jios all B40 not work in intraband CA ??ONLY SOME RADIOS OF SAME SITE WORK IN INTRA BAND CA AND NOT OTHER WHY?

I was earlier using Jio SIM in Jiofi (round one). The signal was always weak and mostly displayed blue. Recently got TP-Link MR600 which supports CA. After putting the Jio SIM, the configuration page showing 4G+ in one room, with Band 3 & 40. Interestingly the speed test shows download speeds of 11 to 13 Mbps and upload speeds of 18 to 20 Mbps. Is this normal? Earlier, with the jiofi, the upload speeds were much lesser than download speeds.

@pachabhut yeah band 3 must be having 10MHz in your place, and since it's FDD, you're getting increased speed on upload, but since many people are using the network for downloading, your download speed is slower than your upload speed. Band 40 has the upload speed capped at 10Mbps, and for some reason, it's not aggregated.

You should also check if you're using any VPN or DNS changer app on your phone. You shouldn't see a key symbol in the notification area. The key symbol causes you to show double the speed.
