Guys can someone clearly state how to change connection from PPPoE to Bridge mode??I'm new to BSNL so please explain in detailThanks

Please mention modem - model and make

To change to Bridge mode

1. Type 192.168.1.1 in your address bar

2. Log in to the browser using ID and password as admin.

3. Go to WAN page (or internet connection), select the entry with 0_35.

4. Click the " Edit " button.

5. In the landing page, you will find an option to change between bridge and PPPoE

When I connect using bridge mode after sometime the connection is disconnected and it says link failure. This has become a serious problem as sometimes I pay bills and bank transactions using internet. Also I download a lot during night (2-8) so it disconnects after 10min after getting connected at 2.10 or so.Please help

Is there any disconnection while in PPPoE mode ? Still to mention , modem - model and make.

If nothing works, take a backup of current settings and reset the modem.

Why do you want to switch to bridge mode ? PPPoE is more secure and allows you to connect multiple systems without configuring a server.
