Yeah, I believe there has been some kind of internal fallout with Vi.
If your destination is behind Airtel or Tata, it often routes to a fixed specific endpoint, which usually is Delhi or Bangalore.
I think they have stopped peering in a lot of locations.

Those high pings really slow down the experience significantly
