I was talking generally. Apple, Samsung etc. can all hike prices of their latest models citing weak rupee. Strangely cars with imported components should have seen the same!

They will eventually, currently Google Play store is still putting less than 50 for a dollar for some apps. A $20 endomondo subscription is for less than ₹1000

But for a lot of apps it is around 60 rupees per dollar. Though a lot of apps are now using localized pricing and they tend to use USD 1 = INR 50 for simpler calculations. Timely in Europe is around 2.5 Pounds but in India they priced it at Rs. 199.
