Cheated by BSNL into getting a new broadband connection

Hello

Just want to inform you all regarding the incompetent buffoons public sector drag of a company's new venture into cheating and defrauding customers by word twisting and typical babu responses.

As per the BSNL notice which is displayed on the front page of its home site, I took a new connection hoping to utilise the offer.

This is what they said

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

15 days unlimited free download at 2Mbps to the New Customers registering their Broadband connections upto 31-03-2011 in all the circles.

Now after taking the connection they are dilly dallying by saying it ONLY APPLIES TO LIMITED PLANS, that is if I opt for cheaper plans then I get the offer but if I opt for higher end plans the offer is void. I opted for Home 750 UL which is supposedly not applicable for the offer, Home 500 would be fine.

Good to see BSNL on track to start cheating like the other chor's, atleast this was not a problem till now but as they keep mounting losses in thousands of crores expect to see more of defrauding and cheating by BABUSNL

No point in "letting off Steam" here and in forums. Send the Online complaint and then prepare for complaint to TRAI etc. if no action taken. You have to prepare the documents.
 
Tell them to give it written. We can see what can be done. But I don't think they will oblige.
 
this is the mistakes we always doing, phoning n then ballah ballah ballah, plz always correspondance in writing and KILL them with written arm today's biggest weapon..............
 
Same probem here... i got on 17/3/2011 uld 900 plan... two days after i saw that offer 15 unlimited at 2 mbps speed... i asked a customer care executie,,, he said that yes, i have that free unlimited offer ... after that i download quality movies so now i reached my 8gb limit and degraded to 256 mbps speed... so today i logged a complaint about this to bsnl care at 1500... waiting for their reply.....
 
Write to nodal officer or appellate authority. ID and phone no on the backside of your bill.
