Yep installed Hathway today, Cherri was stuttering with Disney+ 4k stream whilst Hathway streaming it like youtube from cache.

Jio owns a submarine cable landing station in Chennai.
So they shouldn't have international bandwidth constraints atleast in Chennai.

How come Jio fiber users in the city are complaining about terrible speeds and latency?

I know a couple of colleagues with Jio fiber installed and haven't heard any slowdowns with their connections. They seem to like it enough and are willing to continue even after Jio launched their not so great paid plans.

Did hathway block ICMP echo for your as well or you're able to see IP's over trace route?
