When i was young my dad told me that Anand is a very good player in the world in Rapid Chess.....:thumb:

Hurray!! Anand wins again with black! This was crushing game, Kramnik again was more than 1hr behind Anand in terms of time.

3.5-1.5 healthy lead now.

Here is link to game:
5th game: http://live.chessdom.com/games/228/?sd=asd
Game was similar to 3rd, but Kramnik probably didnt prepare well

Old games:
1st game: http://live.chessdom.com/games/223/?sd=asd
Draw, much like a practice game where both players played safe

2nd game: http://live.chessdom.com/games/225/?sd=asd
Draw, Anand with white missed winning chance because he didnt have time left

3rd game: http://live.chessdom.com/games/226/?sd=asd
Anand won with a novelty

4th game: http://live.chessdom.com/games/227/?sd=asd
Draw, Kramnik with black played well here

Came to know on this today morning news and its good to know that 5 games completed out which 2 games are won by Anand:yahoo:. I believe this time also Anand will win the title.......... I wonder why dont in olympics Chess is not included.......there are certain games in which India are strong it is not included in olympics. The games which are strong are Cricket, Chess, Kabaddi......

Chess and Cricket are time consuming games (but some people are talking abt twenty20 in Olympics).Kabbadi, India used to push for it but then I think gave up.

I agree with you amish that Chess and Cricket are time consuming games but i believe in olympics Chess cane be played with Rapid Chess rounds and Cricket can be included with T20........i think kabaddi is included in Asian Games i think..........

I doubt Anand will participate in olympics. Plus chess requires very very peaceful crowd and surroundings which is not possible in olympics. Plus several arbitrators (umpires) wud also be required, which is tough too. Plus olympics is mostly for physical activity but in chess crowd hardly get to see anything happening physically. Just two players with their hand under the chin or palms on head!

Archery?
Shooting?
Fencing?
Weightlifting?

Also... A lot of games in Olympics are plain boring from the viewer's point of view.

Chess requires non-stop 3-4hr concentration for players (even when its other players turn, they keep thinking). Whereas in above games u can relax when its others turn.

What about the rapid speed round in chess competition how long will that take as i believe rapid speed round is all based on timings only.........

Anand wins again with white now, Kramnik probably doesnt have answer. Everyone thought that Kramnik would come up with weapons he might have kept hidden. But with this loss its clear he doesnt have any.

Score Anand 4.5-1.5 Kramnik
