Google getting aggressive with product launches in india

1.5GB RAM. 8GB storage. Sigh. This is when Google is allegedly asking manufacturers to opt for minimum 2GB RAM and 16GB storage to be able to get GMS certification.

Bought this to replace my ageing MiBox S.
Comes with Android TV 12 with May 2022 security patch.
Home screen is quite similar to the refreshed UI of Android TV.
Settings UI is completely different.
Remote is cute and has option of setting up Power, Input and Volume via HDMI CEC and IR although my TV (VU) wasn't listed. So I couldn't set it up. We do have an option of setting it to control Chromecast though.
Free space after installing all the apps I need is around 2.4GB.
Supports seamless updates which is nice.
Overall UI is currently smooth and lag free.
