MUMBAI: Viacom18’s upcoming Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) Colors has inked a 16-film deal with Eros International.
The deal includes six films like Om Shanti Om, Heyy Baby, One Two Three, Dus Kahanniya, Sunday and Black and White. Colors' rights will also include Eros' forthcoming films.
“We have signed a 16-film deal with Eros International. We plan to telecast new and big movies in our channel,” says Colors CEO Rajesh Kamat.
Colors will also get 11 movies from Studio18. The list includes Welcome, Bhootnath and upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer Singh is Kinng.
Colors is launching on 21 July, and will have a weekly slot for movies on Sundays at 4 pm.
