Comparison between TataSky and Big TV Packages

Yes. U are right. But what made me confuse is that the blog written "a conspiracy called Tata Sky" that made me to think the other way... Anyway if we dont want TS, then we can use it to receive FTA channels ..

I just spoke to TS cc he told me that we can deactivate TS for that we need to write to the head offfice of ts and once they receive the letter they will take the dish alone from our house and we can keep the the STB along with remote with us:thumbsup: but of no use. If you want to reconnect to TS you cant reconnect with same STB rather you need to buy new digicomp box in the market then schedule for the installation and other process remains same.........

asdfgf i request you one thing once once your TS renewal is expired why dont you try Reliance with the launch offer for Rs. 2190.......where in you get all the channels............rather than paying paying for TS with monthly subscription for Rs. 260 appx. Try big tv for one year if you are happy be with them and if not revert to TS again......

I am planning to do the same by next year around same time if similar offer is there.......

One more thing the CC told me that very soon they are coming up with some good offers for existing customers too.......

Me too plaing to do this, my Tata Sky Due date is 15th Dec 2008. If Big Tv gives the same offer till that date and Tata Sky will not add SS Music and some tamil channel, then i will go for Big TV not in Rs.2190, i will select Rs.1990 beucase i am not intrested in Sports channel. :yahoo:

But i think TS may add SS Music and Some Tamil channel with in a couple of months. :thumbsup:

Thanks aju for calling and enquiring... .. BTW, I have validity till December end. After that I ll still continue with TS becoz I dont find anything wrong with TS. As far as I am concerned, their Service is reallly good.. I pay Rs.300 maximum per month and get to see all the channels I wanted to see.. what else needed ? But am also keeping an eye on Sun DTH becoz it is an affordable DTH for south India. If they add ESPN STAR, i ll surely think of moving to SUN DTH. as far as BigTV, let them spend some time in the market and achieve something... THen we shall judge them :thumbsup:

I think sun dth might charge bit high to view sports channel i believe.......but with sun dth if you get all the sports channels and all the tamil channels less than Rs. 200 then i believe its worth going for it too..........but i have a problem with sun direct as i feel to view hindi channels i need to pay more and thats the reason i am neglecting sun direct.......

To view tamil channels with all the sports channels i think SD is the best but for person like who watch sports, tamil, hindi, english.......SD is not the best option............

One more advantage of having TS is of Gift mate vouchers and indiaplaza offers. I feel because of these online protal we can atleast benefit for Rs. 300 - 500 per year by buying recharge vouchers from them.........which

Ultimately if you look at my case i am subscribing to Annual Super Save Pack which is worth Rs. 300 for 1 yr the cost is Rs. 3600.........for annual subscription i paid only Rs. 3000 and the orginal cost i paid to TS becuase of Gift mate vouchers is Rs. 1500 and still i have a balance of Rs. 1200 to my credit out of which 600 is original cost... Over all i have bought recharge vouchers worth rs. 4200 and for which i paid only 2600 for TS package cost.........
