honestly, i would not switch to jio just for a 20% saving. reliance is reliance. they have a tendency to start with a bang and then lose interest and leave the product to rot.

in any case, i cannot use jio till i am stuck on the stupid 6p so i should not even bother about the thought of switching to it for now

Better get a mifi device then, you can use it as backup and disconnect Airtel if speeds r good or take along when out.
Solves all the purpose.
