Today October 8 - Sun started telecasting special programmes without prior anouncement. Telecasted Kuruvi 150 day celebrations at 10.30 Am which was supposed to be telecasted by Kalaignar tomorrow(If Im not wrong). By 11.00 Sun started telecasting "Muthu" - Rajini's Film. Kalaignar started telecasting 'Deepangal' as per their usual schedule. But within 5 mins. they stopped the programme and started telecasting "Anbulla RajiniKanth" - Rajini's Old hit film. Let us wait and watch the day schedule:rofl:

i expected this to happen few days before when kalaingar tv was saying in its website abt spl programs on 8th and 9th october, and sun tv was announcing programs only on 9th. so i guessed last moment sun tv might change the schedule. Morning it started with karan interview in vanakam thamizhagam and then sarojadevi program ....
Do u remember last year same thing happened, when Sun Telecasted some program, which was to be shown in Kalaignar, and Kalalignar Telecasted Gilli, which was about to be shown in Sun , the next day.Now, this matter has happened, and again sun is showing Gilli, tomorrow.What a Co-Incidence?

No idea ..where and when this will stop !Healthy competition is always Good for Viewers.In Kerala, Surya also faced such experience from Asianet previously.Asianet played some tricks to lift heroine from Surya Tv' popular serial.They succeeded, but the serial continued with another heroine, still the popularity was higher. The new heroine was also lifted by them !Anyway it's old story.Smile

Kalaignar tv cannot match sun network simply because of the movie database that sun has...After initial buzz now they don't even have a movie to telecast... I can't even remember the moviename they telecasted on Vijaydasami...People don't tune into a movie just because its broadcasted for the first time...The hero looked terrifying... And worst it was followed by a telugu dubbing movie which even Telugu audience would have rejected...Had it been a hit vishal/jeyam ravi/vijay would have remade it.... Vellithirai was a decent movie but noway can stand near ghilly...Then came the hoopla kuruvi 150 days...Even Vijay would have said that the movie was an utter flop and knew how it ran 150 days...May be it will be put on Diwali...Anyway infront of Chandramukhi both are much inferior... Another news is that Sun tv may scrap news during festivals to increase advertisements...Not sure its true or not...But such a thing is necessary because can;t watch a movie for 4 hours... Now sun tv will be facing problems in two years when kalaignar will have rights for sivaji and dasa..Waiting eagerly to see what will happen
