Hi Naveen..
You need to rotate/realign the dish in the east to south direction by say 2 degrees approx. Also, depending on your present alignment, you may need to turn the dish up by say 2-3 degrees. do not touch the LNB [the device which collects the signal reflected from the dish] unless there is some problem with the original installation.

Hi Smile
Am using Samsung STB. I changed Freq n Symbol rate (12316 v 30000), polarisation not changed. Signal and quality shows 0%.
Do dish to be realigned? then what angle?

Hi Naveen..

Tip: Make small adjustments and wait a few seconds for the signal strength to show up on the tv. The adjustment is so small that you may not notice any change in the position of the dish at all!

Also first mark the original direction and elevation before turning the dish so that even if unsuccessful you can come back to the old place.

We also need to rotate LNB slightly in order to get all the channels on Sun Direct DTH from new satellite.

I have tried the alignment procedure given in the above replies. But I was not able to receive few channels and the channels details were getting downloaded every time I switch on the STB.

I did a small research on the satellite position and did some more alignment which is not given in any of above replies. Finally I succeeded with signal strenght 79% to 84% and quality 94% to 99%.

The complete procedure is giving at Ambience: Sun Direct - Dish Realignment Procedure.
