I have a weird problem with my setup, hoping someone here can help me figure it out.
I have a 200 mbps Xstream connection, they provided Titanium 2122A Router (now almost 4+ years old).
I also have a TP-Link WiFi Extender.
Everything works fine, but when the WiFi extender is connected and running some of the devices directly connected to 2122A WiFi will not get internet, and my computer connected through LAN cable will also stop getting stable IP Address from 2122A, ipconfig /all shows my PC keeps cycling through APIP address and random IP addresses from the router's DHCP range, but it never settles on any single IP Address.
When this happens, if I turn off or reboot the WiFi extender device for even 1 second, my PC almost instantly registers an IP and internet starts working again until one of the subsequent PC reboots (This is also random, sometimes it will work fine for 15-20 days, some times even 1 reboot causes this IP looping issue, but turning off/rebooting the extender fixes this issue instantly without fail).
Can someone please help me understand what this problem is? and a possible fix if you have one.
