A friend who does Android development has agreed to work on one provided there is interest from Reliance users on the forum. He does not have access to a Reliance connection so he would need a helping partner. Any interest?
i have pointed him to the existing scripts on the web. amish mentioned that it is a one line code solution. i would update if it can be converted into a simple app that can be run from the phone itself.
he basically say there are two ways of doing it: 1. an app with a login button. that can have ads to support the app. 2. a service based app that runs a background service on the phone that automatically relogin as soon as the connection drops. suggestions?
extension for chrome? i mean you can already login using the browser. you need the login button on the right of the omnibar?i was more thinking about a login button on your phone. so that you do not have to turn on the computer or using the phone's browser to login manually?
righto. i was thinking more on the lines of. make first version free with ads. make second version paid for. considering it would not have a user interface so there is no possibility of making money from ads?second option of course would have to have a UI for how regularly to check for ping drops and so on.
I can help him, not a problem. But, the major factor is that I am not having an android phone r tablet. But would be getting it before this month ends! So this is a major problem
i think initially he just needs some wireshark data to see how exactly reliance authenticates the connection. i would ping him to update here what he would want initially.
