I'm in a sort of a fix here and any help shall be greatly appreciated. I bought BSNL a year ago and bought the wifi modem too. The service was horrible to say the least:impissed:. Therefore i just shifted to airtel. They give a free basic beetel 110TC1 router. Now I want to configure this airtel connection on my bsnl wifi router for obvious reasons. I dont want to buy a new wifi router, either airtels or other. The guys who came to install tried it but the internet light on the BSNL router never came on, and then the airtel router stopped working and they had to put a new one and they gave up and left. :ishock: Anybody has any clue as to how i should go about this? anybody done this before? Thanks in advance.

So, problem fixed :wewin: the VPI and VCI had to be set to 1 and 34 in the BSNL modem, which is what airtel DSL line uses. Of course put in the username and password and it all worked fine. :) Thanks essbebe.

for Airtel VPI/VCI 1 and 32 . typing error I presume.Book mark the link , I had given, if needed at later date.

oh my bad, must've mixed up the two numbers.

Nivyah
