Looking for BSNL Broadband substitute
Ok, need some help. To improve my Wi-Fi signal, I need to configure my old Netgear Router to act as a repeater. But for some reason, even after doing everything I knew, the TP-Link Router and Netgear Router are not able to communicate with each other.
Current Router - TP Link (TL-WR841N) - Using this one for wireless connection
Old Router - Netgear (WGR614v9) - Trying to use this one as a repeater
Now, I need to connect them wirelessly and not with a LAN cable.
Steps I have taken already.
1. Same SSID in both.
2. Same Channel in both.
3. WEP Password in both.
4. IP address of TP Link: 192.168.1.1 and Netgear: 192.168.1.5 (so they are in the same range)
Please advise where am I going wrong.
