looks like i found the solution myself.

it is some proprietary HP port.

requires this adapter HP Mini VGA Cable | HP® Official Store

suckers.

It's a proprietary port... you could perhaps try for a chinese rip-off in nehru place... else get the original one *suck cock HP*

DisplayPort is hardly Apple proprietary, its a standard, which is being used by quite a lot of newer portables. Take a look at the Alienwares, HP ProBooks/Envy, newer Dell Studios/Adamos.
