During this, are you getting an "IP address conflict" bubble in the bottom right near taskbar?
My problems stopped when I changed my PC IP from 192.168.1.3(default, may be 6 for you) to a higher value like 99-100. Try if that helps. Now the problem hasn't resurfaced, I login only into my router.
