I have an issue it can't be resolved to update D-Link firmware. I am from Gujarat, I have recently purchased d-link 2750u router. My ISP is GTPL. GTPL provides only Ethernet connection and in d-link 2750u having ADSL port. My router having hardware version 1.00 and I have tried to update firmware ME_1.03 to enable option of Ethernet. After updating of firmware it shows me Ethernet and DSL option and follows all necessary steps from connection wizard. I am not registered my mac-address to GTPL.
Step 1. login as admin
Step 2. check automatic timezone selection
Step 3. select connection type : pppoE, insert credentials
Step 4. select security level
Step 5. And go for process it shows process of setup but it doesn't responding.
I had tried it 3-4 times but it doesn't respond. I have been wait for 4 hours to completing but It couldn't.
I have found in youtube video that it provides and option under Advanced setup->Layer2 interface->ETH interface but that version was MEGE_1.11. I had tried to found this version but still I am not succeed. And even I tried to update firmware which you had suggested in your posts. But it shows me updates fail and rebooting router.
Kindly provide me proper guidelines and steps to setup firmware and guide me to proper firmware which enables options of layer2 interface.
