D-Link N300 wi-fi range extender does not connect with Airtel broadband 777VR1 device.

Hi,

I have broadband Airtel internet device 777VR1. Bought D-Link N300 Wi-Fi Range extender. Configured to broadband. When I try to access internet through D-Link, I get message :No internet". I am able to access Internet through wifi.

Q) Is this device compatible with Airtel braodband?
Q) How to make sure if D-Link device is working?
