dataone internet sharing thru SL2_141 ADSL Modem

Hi experts...i am a newcomer to the net sharing tech...i need an assistance to use my new adsl modem (Siemens SL2_141). it has four ethernet ports and one wireless...how can i use this modem for different computers to connect to net simultaneously. when i am using an ethernet port with one computer i amn't able to connect net with any other prts or the wireless using other computers. the modem was provided with the broadband connectiona nd did not come with a CD or mannual...the plan is the business plan 9000 multiple users...i had assumed it is also a router...so, please help me to find a solution to the problem of sharing the net with this modem to different computers simultaneously..

A request: change/add to the tag siemens-sl2_141 , and sl2_141. Only you have the option to do it.

Para three :1. In all computers change TCP/IP properties.
2.Assign IP address automatically. DNS as entered or OpenDNS 208.67.220.220 and 207.68.222.222.
In the modem programming enable DHCP and give range 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.40.
3. Confirm other computers get connected to Internet.
4. Does your computers(desktops) have Wireless adapter cards installed .
( available like an ethernet card with a small Antenna). Confirm this .
5. You may have to download the user manual.

Hi.. i apreciated the response so much ..and thank you..but i still have the problem...i can't configure the modem to always on mode in order to access the net simultaneously from different computers..the modem is n't exactly like given in the mannual tho it says siemens sl2_141...it was provided with the connection by the bsnl..i didn't get a cd or mannual..i can still connect only one system at a time.1.all computers TCP/IP assinged to be automatic2. i dont see a DNS option..probably didnt undertand3. no htey dont simultaneously4. i use desktop with a lan line and laptop wireless5. mannaul doesn't show configuration windows as i get on my screen hope u help...

hi experts ...i got a new SIEMEN SL2_141. well my laptop is detecting the wireless network but no page is opening when i try to connect to any URL.It shows 'ADRESS NOT FOUND'.I was told two connection wont work togather. i also have a PC how can i disconnect from my PC and surf net on my laptop using WI-FI ??? pls help ... i have a XP

you could configure your modem in ppoe mode SL2_141 (Type-B) ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION .. steps 9 to 13 ..
